- Amman Dead Sea Ultra Marathon
A grueling test of endurance, Amman Dead Sea Ultra Marathon is one of the major Jordan International Events that draw in hordes of travelers to the country from all parts of the world. The race begins with competitors setting forth from an elevation of 900 meters above sea level, from where they make their ways down to the lowest point on Earth, in the desert of southern Jordan at around 400 meters below sea level, covering a distance of around 1300 meters!
- Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr
Being predominantly a Muslim country, Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr is celebrated amidst so much fanfare that it surpases the grandness of many major Jordan International Festivals.
