Sumida River Fireworks Festival The fireworks festival of Japan is a spectacular event that takes place on the banks of River Sumida. Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival- Cherry Blossom also known as Sakura is Japans national flower. Sanja Festival- Sanja festival also referred to as Sanja Matsuri is one of the biggest festivals in Japan. The other 2 are Sanno Festival and Kanda Festival. The tourism campaign is held here and sponsored by tourism, railway companies and the municipal governments. The event is marked by walking tours, history and culture tours, and eating tours etc.
