The city of Merrill within the Lincoln County of the state of Wisconsin is served by the Merrill Municipal Airport that is located at a distance of one mile to the north west of Merrill. The airport is perched at an elevation of 1318 feet above the sea level and has an FAA identifier of the RRL.

Merrill Municipal Airport is publicly owned by the City of Merrill and is open to the civilians. The airport began its operations in February, 1938. The airport is facilitated with a lighted indicator and a well-updated lighting system that allows the smooth operations of the flights even during the low light hours of the dusk and dawn. The availability of fuel makes it easy for the flights to refuel themselves.

Merrill Municipal Airport is facilitated with two asphalt paves runways measuring 5100 x 75 ft. / 1554 x 23 m and 2997 x 75 ft. / 913 x 23 m respectively. The runways have been maintained in an appreciable way and are in good condition.
