The Miami International Film festival presented by the Miami Dade College is the star attraction of the city events. The festival features the screening of over 100 films. The Miami film festival is an annual event that offers a seat to around 75,000 film fans with the benefit of catching up the finest and the fabulous range of cinema during the particular time. The film festival along with arranging screenings of the best movies also presents a fabulous stage of business, social, and educational functions. Around hundreds of producers, directors, filmmakers, actors, writers, and the movie industry representatives from all around the world attend the event. The screening and other activities are hosted at several venues throughout the city. Some of them are the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road, Tower Theater in Little Havana, and Gusman Center of Performing Arts.
