Paris Book Fair 2008

Books help man to develop into a thinking animal, a connoisseur of literary works and an emancipated brain on the whole. Book Fairs are supposed to be the meeting points of books, publishers, book lovers, booksellers, authors and sponsors under one roof. It is a place where you can browse through books, buy them, get to know about forthcoming paperbacks and meet the greats who make an earning with the pen and paper. Various Book Fairs take place in various countries all over the world. The Paris Book Fair has been serving the people connected to books since 1981 as a result of SNE member-company initiative.

Ever since 1992, the Paris Book Fair has been dedicating each year’s event to a foreign literature, thereby enhancing the scope for French people to explore further interesting literary avenues. The presence of invited writers from each year's featured Guest of Honor country and several debates and talks with authors make the event special and interesting.

The forthcoming Paris Book Fair 2008 is scheduled to be held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 14-March-08 to 19-March-08. The main events normally include the following:
