Beijing Olympics 2008 organizers are surely looking forward to an exciting edition of the summer games in the capital city of China. They are confident that the 2008 Beijing Olympics will be a safe affair despite terrorist threats from its Muslim-majority neighbors in the northwest. The proclamation came from the organizers in the wake of a recent foiling of two terrorist plots. Although the host nation had expressed concerns about terrorism being the biggest threat to the Beijing Olympics 2008, this was the first instance reported by the authorities.
