Parrot Jungle Island Miami
The Parrot Jungle Island is located at the center of the Miami city, within the South Beach and Miami Downtown. The park is an ideal destination for kids as well as adults, as one can see a plenty of birds and animals here. The Park is named after a bird, that is, Parrot. For that, it is obvious that the park has plenty of birds too. The birds that primarily stay in this jungle are-

The La Playa Beach
The Jungle has one private beach where you can sit and relax. Here, you sit by the Biscayne Bay and can enjoy sipping the Playa Colada. The La Playa houses some fun sections like water slides, bounce house and a swim area. The other prominent attractions of La Playa are-
- The Big Kahuna :
The Big Kahuna is a very thrilling ride for kids, where they are made too climb a 17 ft. tall plateau. On the plateau, the kids will be seated. These seats will slide down towards the waves and are splashed into a pool.
- Splish ‘N Splash-180 Degree Slide :
The ride includes a water slide and rock climbing.
- SpongeBob SquarePants Obstacle Course –
The obstacle course consists of a bounce house which has a big jumping area for kids with climbing feature, basketball hoop, exit slide through a Tiki God's mouth, log and pop-up obstacles.
- A Taste of the Islands – This is a restaurant where one can get hosts of snacks and tropical drinks. You can sit at La Playa and enjoy drinks like Playa Colada or frosty popsicle.
Please note: Footwear is required at all times on La Playa - both on the sand and in the water. If you prefer not to bring aquatic shoes from home, they will be available for everyday prices in our Island Treasures and Gifts Shop.
The slides are converted into a dry ride in the Cold weathers.
The Shows of Parrot Jungle Island
The Parrot Jungle Island organizes three shows daily for the visitors. They are:
- Winged Wonders
Show time:
10:30, 1:15, and 4:15
Venue: Parrot Bowl - Tale of the Tiger Show Time: 12:30, 3:15 and 5:40 Venue: Jungle Theater The 5:40 PM show is for the weekends and holidays.
- Gator X-Treme Show time: 12:00 and 2:35 (Thursdays-Sundays) Venue : Lower Level of the Serpentarium An additional show will be held at 5:20 PM on weekends.
10 AM- 6PM(daily)
Admission fee:
$29.95 for adults (ages 11-64)
$27.95 (ages 65 years or older)
$23.95 for children (ages 3-10) and
No admission fee is required for the children below 2 years.
