Chamarel

Chamarel is a small village situated towards the southwestern region of the island which is known for its Seven Colored Earth and beautiful waterfalls amidst the green vegetations.

Port Louis climate:

There are not much climatic changes in Mauritius. The country mainly has two seasons (winter and summer) both being very similar to each other. Summer months are from November to April, when the temperature goes as high as 30 degree C. The place experiences cyclones with heavy rains and strong winds during monsoon, which is from January-March. There are only a few degrees of temperature drop during the winter season.
