It serves as a hub for two affordable airlines – Air Asia and Firefly. It has won two major awards – Airport of the Year in 2009 and Best Emerging Airport (Asia) in the same year. The airport links all the important cities in South East Asia to Malaysia.
Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport
Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport was previously known as Subang International Airport. The airport operates turboprop domestic flights and general aviation. It was the principal airport in Malaysia before the Kuala Lumpur International Airport came into existence. At present, the airport serves as the hub for Berjaya Air.
