There is a statue of King Stanislas at the center. The most notable feature of the square is the magnificent gilded wrought-iron railings which were made by Jean Lamour. Th largest palace which is around the square if the Hotel de Ville also known as Town Hall. There are magnificent banisters on the staircase made by Lamour.
