Table Tennis is a sport which involves two or four players. The players strike a lightweight ball back and forth to each other constantly with paddles or rackets. The game is played on a table that is divided by a net. Here the players allow only one bounce of the ball on their side and then return it to the opponent's side for a bounce before the opponent hits it back. The Table Tennis Event format suggests that an NOC is allowed to enter up to 1 men's and 1 women's team in teams events and a maximum of 3 men and 3 women athletes in singles events.
