• There will be a random draw before all preliminary competitions. This helps to determine the order of diving.
• Based on the total scores at the end of the preliminary the ranking of any participant is determined. In the reverse order of their ranking, the participants will be allowed to compete in the semi-final.
• In case of tie, the dive order is fixed after a draw between those affected divers.
• In the tournament system also, after considering the total scores at the end of the preliminary competition, the divers' rank is determined. In all remaining sessions they take part in the reverse order of their ranking. In the case of tie, draw between the affected divers will determine the next dive order.
• In any case total number of diving should not exceed 210.
• Unless a double judges panel is used, the sessions for any particular event shall be divided into 2 or more.
• If a diver failed his/her chance in any session, the next diver according to the rank shall move forward to keep the prescribed number of divers same in each session.
• For 2 or 3 divers securing same number, a tie is held for that particular position
• The diver with the highest cumulative points shall be declared the winner of that individual event.
• The team with the highest total points will be the winner of the synchronized events
