Equitana Melbourne

Date: November 18-21, 2010
The Equitana Event in Melbourne is the largest horse-riding event in the city. The horse owners and racers from across the country are invited to participate in the event. This event is a unique one in Southern Hemisphere. Celebrities and other media personalities also attend the races. The event will also conduct a horse exhibition and sale of racing horses.
Equitana was hosted in Montana in 1999. Since then, it has attracted around 50,000 visitors every year. It has also been a celebration of the entire horseracing and equine industry of the nation.
This year, it will feature around 1,000 horses, 500 competitors, and 300 exhibitors. There will also be trainers and educators gathering in Melbourne Showgrounds.
