Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2008

Food is a concept that relieves you of your hunger, liberates you from starvation, makes way into your beloved’s heart and helps you show your creativity in cooking. Food and wine together no longer fit the role of sheer hunger killer but takes the shape of a canvas to display your art of cooking and allows you to taste different flavors of the world. Ever since its inception in 1996, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has developed into the largest Food and Wine Festival in the world.

Wonderful creations of food items go on display, highlighting the culinary excellence of Melbourne to the world and its people. Highly esteemed food connoisseurs from all over the world happen to visit the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and get a taste of the delicious food items on exhibition. In 2007 such dishes as Sam and Sam Clark of London's Moro, Andoni Luis Aduriz of Restaurant Mugaritz in Spain, Rose Gray of London's River Café and Will Goldfarb of NewYork's Room 4 Desert went on display.
