Crocodile Trophy - Cairns, Australia
The Crocodile Trophy is regarded as the hottest, longest, and toughest mountain biking competition in the world. The event features more than 10 days of racing. Contestants include Olympic and World champions taking on an itinerary, which starts in the tropical haven of Cairns, prior to undertaking via the Tropical Tableland into the huge bush country close to Chillagoe. The competition subsequently proceeds to the north in the direction of the legendary Quinkan land of Laura prior to arrive at the shore at Cooktown once more. The Crocodile Trophy comes to the end where the tropical forest touches the reef, on the seashore at Cape Tribulation.

Cairns Tennis Pro Tournament is going to take place in this year. Cairns will be home to a state-of-the-art tennis stadium and for observing the official inauguration of a top tennis tournament that will take place in the city.
