Ballarat Airport is situated in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It is owned by the City of Ballarat and is situated 7km northwest from the city centre. The Flight Service Station of the airport is the Melbourne Center.

During the World War II in 1940, the RAAF No.1 Wireless Air Gunners School was established by the Department of Air that is now the present aerodrome. After the RAAF left the site in 1961, the Aerodrome was given to the then Shire of Ballarat. On September 11, 1962, the place became a licensed aerodrome. Ballarat Airport is also listed in the Victorian heritage Register in 2007. The place is also the home to Ballarat Aero Club, Ballarat Aviation Museum, Anson Museum and Field Air and MAF Air services.
