Charles Darwin National Park
The national park is an integral part of the woodland system in Darwin. The large variety of flora and fauna with 51 mangrove species makes this place worth visiting. Located on Frances Bay, the Charles Darwin National Park also includes Sadgroves Creek, Reichardt Creek, and Blessers Creek.
The park has noted historical significance. During the World War-II, there were concrete bunkers in this place and one converted into visitors’ center. Today, there is a display of World War-II memorabilia.

Darwin Botanic Gardens
The Darwin Botanic Gardens is a popular Darwin tourist attraction. It is also known as George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. The gardens are a host to number of waterfalls, tropical rainforests, forest walks, pathways, trail walking, and fountains. The place is closely located to Darwin’s Central Business District.
